“Secrets of Sin” - Galatea

Case Study Summary

This project used AI-generated video to bring Secrets of Sin to life, integrating multiple AI tools to create a visually striking, cinematic piece. The workflow combined AI-driven video generation, motion refinement, and manual post-production editing.

I tested Pika Labs, Sora, RunwayML, Flux1.AI, and AIVideo.com, selecting Pika Labs for its smooth motion and consistent lighting. VeniceAI provided static reference images to maintain character continuity, while Flux1.AI refined AI-generated hand movements. ElevenLabs generated voiceovers, complemented by my own recorded performance for greater emotional depth.

Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, the final cut required extensive refinement, layering AI-generated assets with traditional post-production techniques. Key challenges included AI inconsistencies in motion, character design drift, and content restrictions. Solutions included iterative AI text prompt refinement, extending video clips to 10 seconds for better selection, and manually adjusting timing and audio layering to mask AI limitations.

This case study demonstrates AI’s ability to accelerate production while requiring human intervention for precision. The best results were achieved through a hybrid approach, blending AI’s creative potential with manual editing, sound design, and structured AI prompt engineering.
