One of the things I pride myself on is offering a client experience where they feel supported, confident in the game plan, and know that I have their interests at heart. But most importantly through all of production it is important to create a fun professional environment .
One of my favorite stories to tell is when we were filming at the Aston Martin dealership in Los Angeles. As a surprise to the agency I got them the opportunity to each test drive an Aston Martin during our lunch break. The clients were ecstatic. Of course being a car guy myself I couldn't pass up the opportunity, after all the agency had gone and with just ten minutes left before we were back to lunch I was encouraged to give one a spin. The extremely lovely saleswoman from Austria took me out for a test drive. On a clear part of the 405 I punched it, not going to mention how fast I got it but when I decelerated and pulled down the off ramp, I saw the cop in my side view mirror pull up. All I was thinking was jail time, and with their window down the one officer said "Nice car!" I kindly replied, "Not my car, and not my girl!" They laughed and drove on!
